Privacy policy

Trycut is a service operated by Summertech Studio (“we”). This policy explains what data we use, why, and what you can ask us for.

Data we receive

• Access request: barbershop name, country, city, number of chairs, your name, email and, if you give them, WhatsApp, Instagram and how you heard about us. Also the ad or link that brought you (UTM parameters) and the referring page.
• Account: your email, sign-in codes (stored hashed, they expire in 10 minutes), your sessions (stored hashed) and how many images are created per day.
• Client photos: photos you take in Trycut are sent to our AI service only to create the haircut preview. We don't store them on any server or database: they live on your device's screen until you tap “New client” or close the page. The AI provider (Google) processes them under its terms for paid services, without using them to train its models. The same goes for reference photos of a haircut you upload.
• Site usage: anonymous visit statistics (Vercel Web Analytics, no tracking cookies). We keep one cookie with the language you choose and one to keep you signed in.

Why we use it

To review your request, activate you, send your sign-in code, create the previews, prevent abuse (daily image limit) and email you about the service. We don't sell your data or send third-party advertising.

Who it's shared with

The providers that run the service: Vercel (hosting), Supabase (database), Resend (email) and Google (AI to edit the photos). Each gets only what its job needs.

Responsibility for photos

As the barber, you ask your client's permission before taking the photos and explain they're only used to show the preview right then.

Your rights

You can ask us to see, correct or delete your data, or close your account, by emailing summertechstudio@gmail.com.

Language

We show the site in Spanish or English based on your country (sent by our hosting provider, no location permission asked) or your browser language, and remember your choice in a cookie.
